@JMoVS I like where you're headed with this, i.e. putting more explanation on the landing page. Also, describing manual installation of the binaries as the best option for most users is a really good idea. Although, personally, I may try the WSL route the next time I do this.

And I'm definitely pulling the Cygwin pointers in my "README" this week. You and @samhutchins have convinced me. :)
