Stagnation is not a healthy flowing river; it is an idle and stale pond.

<< I love this! but .. it is poetry, and therefor nice as image, or as quote.. not as statement. You can add context that a way to visualize the added value of change is by stating that " ....." In this way you can use this sentence, but that you need to argument the change and value relationship.
