Current thinking:

Left side: 1-3 buttons vertically, centered: (Rename), (Lock/Unlock), Delete
Center: Name, slotnumber [KEPT DISTINCT INTERNALLY]. There may be a scrollbar.
Right side: Screenshot thumbnail, with the timestamp underneath it

Benefits:

Functional elements of UI are always visible
It is possible that multiple scrollbars might look better in this configuration. Or not.

Resolved by adc7105485a0262b179e8bdf7ed0ac389ddb03b6

The save slot layout has been redesigned to more effectively handle name text, background images, and function buttons. Viewports have been removed, which removes internal scrollbars. Timestamps have been moved to the tooltip. Text will scroll on hover/long-press, mitigating overflow, either horizontally or vertically, based on font size. Best I can do without a crystal ball.
