It's definitely possible, though maybe out of the scope of this specific project. USB emulation is the focus of device-console communication in this project.
the project I linked also supports GC host. I asked here because your project handles controllers over BT already, which none of the current GC-controller libs do. (just custom controllers as of yet?)
either way it would be something I've been waiting a long time for. plenty of BT recievers for other retro console even commercial with 8bitdo (for nes, snes, etc) but afaik none for n64 or gamecube.
I think theres is demand for it now that GC has taken off (hdmi adapters and new ODE GCloader.)

Could this be built upon to sync BT controllers to and output GC controller data, effectively making your own open source "wavebird"? perhaps with combination of this lib https://github.com/NicoHood/Nintendo
