Is there any discernable difference for use case or otherwise between this and the stomp.js repo? Thx

If you are talking about https://github.com/stomp-js/stompjs I do not know, I forked based on https://github.com/jmesnil/stomp-websocket initial version, which is the root for all stomp / webstomp related library it seems.
