Deleting all resources in AWS upon project completion is essential to maintain security and cost-efficiency. It prevents unauthorized access and unnecessary ongoing expenses, ensuring that the AWS environment remains streamlined and secure.
Head back to AWS, search EC2 on the search bar and click on it.
- On the left side bar, click on "instances".
- Click on our instance.
- Click on "Instance State" on the top right corner and click on "Terminate instance".
- Click on "Terminate" and wait a bit.
- The EC2 Instance is terminated. AWS will not be charging me anymore.
