Can't install Hyprland

Every single line during installation says either: "warning: fatal error" or "Operation not permitted"

(It's likely that I have done something wrong, but I don't know what)

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Use install script
  2. Get hundreds of errors
  3. Yey! Installation Completed.
  4. Reboot
  5. Type "Hyprland"
  6. Command not found

Expected Behaviour

Idk for it to work I guess

Actual Behavior

Already described

Screenshots

Dont have any, since this is a new arch install with almost nothing on it

https://github.com/JaKooLit/Arch-Hyprland?tab=readme-ov-file#-to-use-this-script

pls follow exactly what is stated on the the readme

This is to ensure that Arch-Hyprland script are copied in home directory, where you have a write error.

then attach the Install log files in Install-Logs directory inside Arch-Hyprland.

Its the only way to properly debug rather than ping-pong conversations

usr/bin/yay: error while loading shared libraries: libalpm.so.13: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory /usr/bin/yay: error while loading shared libraries: libalpm.so.13: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

all your logs have this

install yay manually and try to install a small package to try if yay works

then re ran again
