Thank you, I will install these and see what I find. Also, thank you for the very awesome hyprland build!
I found the answer. Crazy as it seems... https://forum.cockos.com/showpost.php?p=2807424&postcount=2
When I open REAPER I get the message "There was an error opening the audio hardware: ALSA: error opening output device". In the preferences I have ALSA selected as my audio system, with my input device and output device set to my focusrite scarlet. REAPER will not even begin playing a track with those settings.
When I switch to Pulseaudio for my Audio System I can play music and it comes thru my focusrite scarlet and speakers, but with latency that makes it unusable for audio production. When I use ALSA as the Audio System but select different input and output devices the track plays but there is no audio.
So something about the combination of ALSA, my audio input device and REAPER is not working. In my previous Arch install I had no issues running this configuration at any point.
What can i do to resolve this? Am I missing a package from this hyprland install?
