I broke it didn't I? #124

Can you describe the problem?
Everytime I try to install the updater, it will come up with an error message 
titled "No cake for you" and saying "You broke it didn't you?..." I made sure I 
picked the right folder which is in "E:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Team Fortress 
2\". However I keep getting the message.

I have not modded the game.

I am using the current version: 3.55

My screen resolution is 1920x1080.
