Checked with the latest development build (copy version output from About dialog)

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

Search for duplicates
The counter makes no sense

Appendix

What are those numbers supposed to mean? The left one keeps incrementing when duplicates are merged. Screenshot From 2024-09-29 12-12-44

@homocomputeris Thank you for the report. To be able to assign students to work on this issue, a nice MWE would be great. I know, this is much work. We have 100+ issues in the queue which need a refinement so that they can be a candidate for a university project. Thus, "external" help reduces load on our side and increaseds the chance that the issue will be fixed the next months. More background available at our teaching page.
