Thanks. We need this upgrade. But I think this repo is not maintained anymore :(

I also believe that it is no longer maintained, let's wait for the owner a few weeks, then we can consider creating a parallel package.

Is there a way to have Flutter checkout your PR #8 version specifically? Or did someone migrate this to a parallel project in the end?

We at the moment have locally embedded the library in our project waiting for this PR, it is few files and we decided to integrate it.

I hope @JackJonson can merge it.
