What do we have to do exactly for the write up of the student experience?

Work Log:

• The kiosk design team started designs for the interior of the kiosk
• The website design team had started with designs and started slight coding for the website
• The robot design team had started designs for the robot
• The selection of the team Logo

Problems:

• The ability to pick up and drop the balls for the robotics team
• The remembering and relearning of HTML

Kiosk Team work log: They had started to brainstorm ideas for the interior decoration and overall design and functions for certain machines inside the interior.

Website Team work log: They had started the group replit page and had started to remember/learn and experiment with HTML

The Robot team work log: They had started design ideas and potential blueprints for the robot. They had unfortunately hit a snare when it came to the prospect of picking up balls for the game.

The Graphic Design work log: They had started improvements upon the logos and overall designs of the deck of cards

Work Log:

• The Kiosk team assembled the leftover panels and screwed them each into an aluminum frame and are preparing to paint each panels
• Website site team started the website by coding the homepage and homebar, with progress towards the the other segments of the website
• The Robot design team had finalized their design for the robot and started construction of the aluminum frame
• The Graphic design team made progress for the logo and is almost completed

No problems for today mostly progress

• Kiosk team did measurements for posters and other decorations for the kiosk
• Website team is still working on the homebar and are troubleshooting
• Robot design team are experimenting with motors and has finished the aluminum base

CRC ROBOTICS COMPETITION JOURNAL WRITTEN BY EDMOND PAN DAY ONE - SEPTEMBER 22 INTRODUCTION TO ROBOTICS - AROUND FORTY PEOPLE IN THE MEETING, RANGING FROM SEC THREES TO SEC FIVES. DAY TWO - SEPTEMBER 29 (OR 30?) THEMES ARE PROPOSED, TOLD THAT TOURNAMENT RULES ARE TO BE EXPLAINED IN ANOTHER MEETING. PREVIOUS VIDEO SUBMISSIONS WERE PRESENTED.

MEETING ON OCTOBER 6TH CANCELLED ? DAY THREE - OCTOBER 13 GROUPS WERE TEMPORARILY FORMED BASED ON THEIR ROLES; PROGRAMMERS, SEC 3S ASSEMBLING ROBOTS AND A TABLE(?), SEC 4S ASSEMBLED A ROLLING CABINET, SEC 5S WERE ABSENT; NOT ENOUGH VOTES TO CHOOSE OUR THEME DAY FOUR - OCTOBER 20 THEME WAS CHOSEN: RWA DECK OF CARDS; VIDEO TEAM WAS VOLUNTEERED THEN PULLED OUT FOR ASSIGNMENT OF ROLES AND COMING UP WITH IDEAS. CLASS PRESENTED THEIR IDEAS FOR THE THEME FOR THE REST OF THE PROJECT (KIOSK, ROBOT, ETC.) DAY FIVE - OCTOBER 27 COMPETITION RULES WERE DISTRIBUTED TO CLASS; GROUPS DISCUSSED HOW TO WORK AROUND THE RULES DAY SIX - NOVEMBER 3 TABLE WAS PARTIALLY ASSEMBLED, VIDEO TEAM IDEAS WERE SUGGESTED, WORK COMMENCED AS THE RULES WERE UNDERSTOOD DAY SEVEN - NOVEMBER 10 ROBOT CONSTRUCTION BEGUN, ABOUT 9 KIOSK FRAMES BUILT DAY EIGHT - NOVEMBER 17 More kiosks built, Mr. Northey was absent; early dismissal for video team DAY NINE - NOVEMBER 22 Early dismissal; Mr Zigby could not attend, and kiosks could not be built. Video team planning.

• The website team had started improving the Team page with everyone's quote and pictures
• The Robot design team had started to replace the old wheels on the robot and in insert newer wheels
• The kiosk team had unfortunately had made a mistake with assembling the kiosk and had to disassemble the kiosk and restart the process

• The Robot team has continued the assembling of the robot by adding motors
• The Website team has held of adding the photos in favor of changing the backgrounds for each individual photo through photoshop
• The kiosk team could not work with the kiosk due to a presentation for black history month, as such they started searching for the materials to continue with their ideas

• The website team had started to add the cards with the ECAs of the school and add features to them such as showing the pictures when you hover the cursor over them
• The kiosk team had started painting the kiosk and started to measure out the walls for additions, such as posters and holes for cables
