We need to install WebDriverAgent to the device in order to manipulate the our application from test scripts.
But first, we need to configure for signing the WebDriverAgent project which located in the Appium installation folder.
Locate WebDriverAgent Xcode project
Appium desktop - usually use for inspection purpose
/Applications/Appium.app/Contents/Resources/app/node_modules/appium-webdriveragent/WebDriverAgent.xcodeproj
Appium Node modules - use for running automation test scripts.
/usr/local/lib/node_modules/appium/node_modules/appium-xcuitest-driver/WebDriverAgent/WebDriverAgent.xcodeproj
Note: make sure you know where the Appium instance you are using.
Check the WebDriverAgent.bundle file located in the folder
Open WebDriverAgent.xcodeproj in Xcode
Login your Apple account: Xcode → Preferences → Add the account.
On the left side panel, click on the WebDriverAgent to see the project setting
Configure targets. Open the Targets → WebDriverAgentLib
