Hide overlay when not needed #27

It'd be great if there was an option to auto-hide the overlay when not needed instead of displaying the "Not currently queued for duty" message.

Jaehyuk-Lee commented 5 years ago

I think that's a good idea. I'll work on it.

By the way, since this needs FFXIV running to test if it's working properly, applying this feature will take some time. I can test this with FFXIV 2-3 days a month. I'm thinking about 2 months to apply.

If you'd like to test or use pre-release of auto-hide-overlay feature, test this file. I've not tested this on real situation, so it could not work well. This version supports auto update, so after I release a new version, this version won't work. Ah, also this function works after something happens on overlay. Like matching situation changed or canceled it. I'll add alert when enabling the option. 제목 없음2

Actually, this function also works with FATE spawn. So, I will change translation to "Show overlay only while in queue or FATE occurs" If you have better translation in mind, please tell me!

Hi. Thank you. I tested it and it works as intended. Once you tick/unticke the checkbox, the change doesn't come into effect immediately though. It requires either a program restart or starting/leaving a queue for it to pick up the change. "Show overlay only while in queue or FATE occurs" looks more than good enough.

Could you please check if this version works well?

after you check this, i'm gonna release new version.

New version released and added this function successfully.

You don't have to re-download new version since that test version is same as new version.

Thank you for your quick response!
