Just tried again and get
OutOfMemoryError: CUDA out of memory. Tried to allocate 1.17 GiB (GPU 0; 4.00 GiB total capacity; 1.32 GiB already allocated; 0 bytes free; 1.33 GiB reserved in total by PyTorch) If reserved memory is >> allocated memory try setting max_split_size_mb to avoid fragmentation. Mine is a GeForce GTX 1650 on notebook, should have 4GB or the GPU RAM.
Do I really need to dig in and make changes to Pytorch configurations?
I was trying locally so just did ! pip install easyocr.
