Preview images in notification emails

We need to integrate a w2p extension-related Magento transactional email 
template that includes a variable that enables displaying the ordered 
web-to-print item preview image to be part of the notification email which 
customers and admins receive.

Please, tests it with attched release. It's 2.1.2.0alpha4.

The feature works out of the box, you don't need to configure anything.

I tried it multiple times. No luck.

I get some error in the log. Now I see the extension listed as installed but 
both the back-end and the front-end give a Error 503 - Service temporarily 
unavailable.

When is the next beta/stable release scheduled? We need to deliver this to the 
customer.

I modified template which displays order items in the e-mail. Saved it under 
different name. And replaced original template via our layout file. So it works 
out of the box.

I can also create a block which will only output preview images. Customers will 
be able to add it to custom e-mail templates in the admin interface.
