"at one point" : yes I can't just launch a mp game and sit in front of my computer waiting for someone to join. (I need my internet connexion for my customers pcs, I need my computer to search/work for my customers, I need my attention for my customers... And so, I can be available at any time or disturbed at any time) Is there somebody available this afternoon ?

I'm getting the mods right now. Do we need the vehiclePack as well or just the mr engine from the beta release ? I mean, there is 2 links at the top, but link 1 have some of the mods in the link 2

EDIT: Something else: Are we just going to use the ingame chat or maybe a voice chat like teamspeak/Ventrilo/Skype ?

Vehicle pack 1.3.8 needed All other mods in the "mpTesting" folder (one of the link in the first post)

game in french on continental server. We are all 3 on it by the moment @Dhalj : double check if you don't have any "filter" active when searching for mp games

PS I did check the Vaderstad Rapid600 seeder, turbine sound and engine rpm increase worked

@quadural I have nothing in the log at all except the stuff from when I loaded the map. Do you still wanna have the log ?

Okay, so what are still missing here? Except for the occasional power consumption issue, I think things went rather well. Although Dural might disagree with me here :)

Were there not something in the MP script that needed fixing or was that just me ? I mean there were no errors or warnings, but I thought there were something we didn't like so that needs to be updated as well. Again, I really can't remember what it was :P

Hi all, this is harvest time IRL for me, and so, I don't have much "availability" by the moment (currently stopped by the rain).

  1. the "crash" we get when I was selling all the stuff seems to have nothing to do with mods. It comes from the "Vehicle:testScope" function that try to get the translation of a vehicle currently being deleted (I don't know where and what for this function is called)
  2. the titanium exhaust particle should work the same for the client and the server now
  3. the missing fillLevel (marshall manure spreader) is fixed in the next "mr engine" (1.3.59)
  4. the missing "too fast warning message" for tedders and rakes is fixed too in the next "mr engine"
  5. the "slightly" moving tractor problem should be fixed too (I wa not able to reproduce this problem, and so, I can't garantee that)
  6. I need someone to confirm that the lindner spreader module sound is not present in mp, client side (please first test this in solo and then in mp, and push up your sound to test that to be sure the sound is not "covered" by another one) I also need someone to confirm "frontloaders" sounds are not present ? I gave a little test with all the default frontloaders in mp, and could hear the sound for each one on the client PC. So, is this a problem with the ursus frontloader only ?
  7. I also need to check why we don't get "power consumption" for the frontloader on the client side. EDIT : realisticMovingTool modified. Please check that if possible (client side in mp of course)

About 1: Maybe that crash happened because you sold the Vaderstad seeder, which I was moving around for testing. Maybe that can give the translation check error?

If it is ok with you guys to share the MoreRealisicDLC's with a friend, I can do some MP tests this evening.

Can you shortly explain what was causing the errors?

I'll try to test points 5 through 7 with Claus.

Tested the issues with JakobT in mp


  1. Titanium exhaust particle works in both client and server side in MP game, you can also see it change when someone else (client or server) drives the tractor Also tested Lindner and Ursus exhaust particles, same result
  2. We could not test the fill level of the Marshal or Lindner manure spreader (need new MR version)
  3. We could not test missing too fast warning on tedders and rakes yet (need new MR version)
  4. We also could not reproduce it in this multiplayer game
  5. We tested the sound on multiplayer client and server side. Both server and client can hear all sounds if they operate the frontloader, manure spreader or slurry tanker themselves. however if the client or the server stands next to the implement being used by the other MP user, then they cannot hear the sound of the frontloader, manure spreader or slurry tanker. they can hear the tractor sound revving under load To hear the sounds we had to use headphones, so the sounds are put directly into your ears, otherwise you have to raise the volume to damaging levels to hear it. We also checked a standard ingame non MR Deutz frontloader tractor to see if that gave any frontloader moving sound in MP for the person standing next to the tractor, and it did also did not give that sound, so we think that this is a base-game issue. (we did not test this on a game without the MR engine.)
  6. We do get power consumption on the frontloader now, we can hear the engine revving and see increase in smoke particles if the frontloader is moved. the main cilinders generate more revving and exhaust particles then the closing cilinders of the silage clamp. Also the person standing next to the tractor that is operated by the othe MP user , can hear the revving and see the particles increase

Tested the issues 3 and 4 with JakobT in mp

they both work fine now for server and client

I think the last thing that needs a quick MP check is the hoseRef stuff for the three liquid manure spreaders. Anybody up for it? Side note: I contacted fruktor (the HoseRef author) for permission for including HoseRef, but am still waiting for an answer.

HoseRef MP testing with @Grisu118: went wonderfully, everything works as it should (except a minor detail, got nothing to do with MP though).
