Corrupted text (overwritten) when opening PDF both with viewer/editor. #216

The black diamond and triangles are part of the text however normal text is having that overwritten effect with random characters.

I am using the latest release appimage on fedora. I have tried changing the engines and the multithreading strategy but nothing seems to fix this. I have verified that the file is fine on another PDF reader .

The rendering errror pane is also empty so I am assuming something is messing with the fonts/placement?
