Reagents bag stacking #305

When I try to add some reagent to my bank if the reagents bag is full it is added as a new stack in the bank bags slot instead of stacking to the stack in the reagents bag. For example I have 50x Blackrock Ore in my last slot of the reagents bag and try to add another 20x Blackrock Ore from my inventory they'll go to the first free bank slot as a stack of 20x Blackrock Ore instead of going to the 50x Blackrock Ore in the reagents bag. If I have at least one free slot in my reagents bag everything works fine and I get a 70x Blackrock Ore stack.

If I fill my bank bags I get a message that I don't have any free slots instead of stacking the items (happens to stackable items placed in reagents bag and in bank bags).

If I have a stack-able item in a non reagents bag and a free slot in the reagents bag when I right click on the one in my bags it goes to the first free slot of my reagents bag instead of stacking with the stack in my other bank bag.

I've noticed this behavior as well, even in the most current version. I also have older characters with profession bags (herbalism, mining, inscription, cooking, fishing, engineering, jewel crafting, and skinning) and have to manually move items to these bags now since the default action is to place ALL reagents into reagent bank, making the profession bags almost useless.

This has been driving me nuts for awhile now. so much so that I'm considering a different addOn if it isn't fixed soon. I don't want to have to search my bag because I didn't notice items not stacking, which is what I've been doing for months now.

the reverse is also true btw. If you have reagents outside of the reagent bag, and have an open slot in the reagents bag, the items will instead go into the open reagent slot instead of stacking.

I'm just curious why this is marked with an "enhancement" tag. Is this an intended "feature"? If it is, it's a stupid one. I came here to see what the progress was in fixing this issue, and so far, nothing. Will unfortunately need to use something else unless and until this is fixed. With an enchanter especially, this is not ok.

I see that this exact problem hasn't been resolved. This is still an issue today as it was in 2015. I went searching for a solution again after I noticed it start with another character, once my reagent bag reached capacity. I really hope this get addressed because I too, am going to start using a different bag manager if this isn't, at least, acknowledged that its a problem. I've used this addon loyaly for years now. I hate to have to drop it over this. This is a major issue! It's not worth my time looking and worrying if my items are dropping in the right bag; to have to hunt and search for items manually to put them in the reagent bag.

Please, at least acknowledge this issue so we know this is not falling on deaf ears.

Not falling on deaf hears. Just was not able to come to this yet, had to go for other major issues before.

It's been almost 2 months now and this is still an issue. I would like to know of an update on the situation or a priority on this. Please!

If anyone is still having this issue, can you please let me know what addon you have moved to? I'm not going to continue to use this until it gets fixed. It's a shame.
