unable to generate pdf

Hi When i save the tex file, no error, but pdf file not generated, please help. thanks

i found out i can't install texlive by apt-get, I have to download the zip (https://www.tug.org/texlive/quickinstall.html) and install it. Then everything back to work. thanks
