Thanks for the article. When I stumbled on it, I was really hoping you'd cracked the code - found a way to modify the values dynamically. I want to build a user specific version of the toolbar. Incorporating things like group folders, user site printers, user site specific web links for things like safety reference, a link to the user's Onedrive with their own shortcut hierarchy. I just can't get inside Microsoft's head why they made this in any way difficult. It's a powerful feature if it was flexible. But then, it's just another item on my long and growing list of low-lift things MS could do to radically improve their products but are unlikely to ever see the light of day.
