5 years ago OK used the miio command line tool much easier and means I can keep the latest version of the mobile app. I have reached out to see if this component requires any further testing support to have it furthered and hopefully added to official supported component.
Well its summer and I have put this onto the backburner throughout the cooler months. This no longer connects to my wifi so I need to investigate but I have a new phone and will need to install the old version of Mi home app on my new phone and then I will have to re add all my xioami components grrr what a headache as there are close to 50 of them now.
