If I have two different models of similar processes, or processes within the same system or conceptual space, it might be good to have some form of explicit link between the concepts that are present in both models.
For example, if two models of collective action share a concept of 'conscience constituents' that is analytically the same (as the concept is defined externally, in the literature), then a link between these two model elements would allow these models to interact with one another, even if only on the superficial level of sharing units, min/max values, documentation, and extreme conditions tests.
A modeling software that was 'project' based, as opposed to 'model' based might allow for this.
