[BUG] role check bugs out especially in a BG #1373

1. Current Behavior

1.1. Description

the role icons {tank healer dps) don't work in a rated BG, and I don't think they work in a normal BG. It typically shows everyone as DPS.

1.2. How to Reproduce

       1. do a role check
       2. queue up for a BG
       3. see what happens to the roles

2. Expected Behavior

2.1. Description

the roles should be preserved
