Original issue https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/hadess/switcheroo-control/-/issues/35

Background

Hello, I'm using a Lenovo Legion 5 laptop with RTX2060 Mobile GPU. I'm using a GNOME with Wayland session which uses integrated GPU by default. Both iGPU and dGPU are detectable and working, prime-run also works (tested with vkcube and glxinfo).

OS: Arch Linux CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H dGPU: NVIDIA RTX2060 Mobile DE: GNOME

Problem

I installed switcheroo-control and started its systemd unit. The problem switcheroo doesn't detect my second GPU but only finds a primary AMD integrated GPU. I tried to start the daemon manually using prime-run but it also didn't help.

Debug Info

eglinfo output glxinfo (AMD) glxinfo (nvidia) DBus Dump

Can't recreate on my own optimus laptop. I assume this was fixed by an update to the nvidia drivers, specifically https://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/202351/en-us/. Will need to test to make sure

Tried recreating by downgrading my drivers, but 525.89.02 cannot build a module against kernel 6.4.10
