Conflict issui #4

Hello, I found two issues with the mod. (maybe it's already recognized). When attached keybindings in the game for the drivelever, they permanent saved to these keys. They still be recognized even if they will be deleted in the esc menu. The drivelever also conflicts with the ropa mouse from the game. When the mod is installed, the crane of the ropa didn't work anymore with the joystick keybindings (drivelever keybindings on the same joystick). It conflicts in the on and also in the off state of the mod.

thanks for reporting the issues. I'm glad you like the mod. :)

  1. Are the keybindings still recognized if you leave and enter the vehicle again? It currently seems to work like that new keybindings will only be recoginzed if you leave the vehicle once. I'm not sure if I can do something about that but I will look into it.
  2. I tried to reproduce the issue with the Ropa Mouse but I think I need more information. Do you have your joystick configured so that you can control the arms with it? Can you still turn the arm with mouse control? (That works for me). Maybe you can attach a screenshot of your keybindings for the arm and/or attach your inputBindings.xml. You can find that in the same directory where the mod-folder is.

It is kinda tricky to make inputs work that are assigned to multiple functions. Other mods have problems too. I'm not sure if everything can be resolved but I'll try my best. :)

I attached a printscreen in this mail.

  1. I tried it, but it doesn't seems to have any effect.
  2. The ropa is configured to use it with the joystick. The j, n, k, m etc keys also doesn't work when the drivelever is installed. When uninstalling the mod, it works fine. I know vehicles conflict when using the same controllers for multiple settings, i think this is also the problem. But maybe it is possible to solve the conflict when drive lever isn't actived in the gameplay? Because the actived key for drivelever is another button.

Don't know if it is possible, because i don't know much about modding etc. When not i just use standard keybuttons on my sidedeck.
