@andremieth you need to set PowerShell top UTF-8, at least for the duration of initialisation. That's a PowerShell issue, not oh-my-posh:
$OutputEncoding = [console]::InputEncoding = [console]::OutputEncoding = New-Object System.Text.UTF8Encoding
