@Talafhah1 I can't reproduce this on zsh 5.9.
im on zsh 5.8.1 (x86_64-ubuntu-linux-gnu), through wsl ill see if i can upgrade but i doubt it
@Talafhah1 5.8.1 is almost 2 years old.
when i installed wsl i went with ubuntu 22 lts without thinking about it, currently in the process of upgrading to 23
issue persists after upgrade

in a template adds extra spaces at the end of the line where the%
occurred. Each%
adds an extra space. This appears to only happen with zsh; I haven't gotten this issue with cmd, pwsh, or bash The easiest way to recreate this is using a text segment:This produces the following result (please note that zsh adds an extra space of padding at the end, which is a separate issue):
