Big difficulty: when many ice sheets undergo substantial mass changes, the problem can only be treated globally
We could neatly treat GR feedbacks by introducing a global grid that interacts with the regional one (for deformation).
The structure of the rotational feedback is quite simple: a quadripole globally (dipole regionally). Maybe this could easily be reproduced by a regional approximation of the global problem?
