Cannot open APK you emailed, file format error message #181

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. You have emailed me an apk that removes the ads from the main app and  
enables the fakeOnBoot option.  However, when I try to open it with my phone 
I'm told that it is in a file format that cannot be played on my android 
SCH-I779.  I'm running Android 2.3.6 and trying to get to use Play Store which 
is blocked here in China.  I bought the phone in China. thanks.
