I'm currently ordering them by topic. Maybe I should make this ordering more explicit by adding them as titles?
Hm.. you then probably should remove this "(In no particular order)". Topic titles sounds like a good idea. Duration of the video is also a useful thing. I really like this formatting: https://github.com/bolshchikov/js-must-watch.
What about having tags for each talk, as talks often fall into more than one topic.
How would you do this in a markdown file?
I'm neither for it or against it, but you could just list the tags after the author of the talk, eg:
Interesting! That might be an improvement to quickly find out what a particular talk is about.

+1, that's pretty much what I had in mind.
Over time if the list gets large enough there might be a need for some more rigourous mechanism for enforcing consistency amongst labels, but I think for now an ad hoc tags after the author would work well.
Btw, using tags also allows us to sort the list in the chronological order without loosing the grouping by topic
I added some categories as an experiment. Let's see where this goes ...
It would be better to have it in chronological order. I can reorganise it if you don't mind. Please, let me know.
