Any way to make it faster? #12

First of all, huge thanks for Hairnet, it's truly a remarkable and useful plugin! I experimented with large sets of curves (100K), and the conversion takes hours. I was wondering, given that in my case each curve has the same number of points, if there is a way to modify the script so that it runs faster. Thanks

Without doing some analysis on such a large conversion, I couldn't say how much of the processing time comes from the script or from Blender's internal handling of the data.

I have no doubt that HairNet could be optimized to be faster. At this point, I don't have the means to assess whether it would be minutes faster or hours faster, but it is certainly worth pursuing.
