There's this IPS LCD screen with capacitive touch which is about the same size as the PCB that could be used: http://www.lcdwiki.com/2.8inch_IPS_SPI_Module_ILI9341 I could find it on aliexpress for example: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007127493651.html (untested) This could be a replacement for the buttons, so there is no need to do bottom side assembly, just put a touchscreen there instead. The PCB will need some mounting holes to put screws and spacers to fix the screen in place.

I would keep things simple with an LCD, for a few reasons:

Cost
Power consumption
This board will also be integrated into a swissphone case, hence the lcd choice

This still could be considered for an alternate version
