low framerate when using image editor #2126

What are you trying to do, and what do you expect to happen?

lil to now framerate drops

What happens instead?

when even putting in 1 pixel, it drops down to 2 fps. it cant be my pc since it has 32 GB of ram

Could you install the Performance Audit plugin and run a performance audit, and send a screenshot of that?

well i tried and it always tell me on that its performing great. i cant catch the extrem framedrop before it goes back to 60 fps.

The image didn't upload. Is it just a short temporary frame drop before or after using a paint brush? That's fairly normal for higher resolution images, as it saves copies of the image to be able to undo certain changes.
