Have mirror modeling enabled, then do one of the following action
1) Toggle export option. 2) Toggle lock. 3) Toggle visibility. 4) Hide everything except selection
Expect nothing beside what user do, changing options.

First 3 action will triggers mirror modeling. Last action will cause everything else that reappear trigger mirror modeling.
