G2Z Tight/Binding after assembly. #71

When I assembled the G2Z (none XL) my gears where really hard to rotate even with the motor not installed.

I disassembled it and found that, after slightly loosening (half turn) the M3x16 and M3x30 screws that hold the "stepper_plate" to the "stepper_mount" it ran smooth again, looking at the CAD / slicer I found that distance of the bearing mount to the base was 6.550mm, printing at 0.2 layer height the slicer round this up to 6.60 making it just slightly too tight. See image.

"scratchy noises from Galileo 2 Z #52" sounds like the same issue if you would like to move it. sorry found it after posting this issue. G2Z

I ended up making a .2mm shim to go between the "stepper_plate" and the "stepper_mount" and it ran smooth.

I'd like to suggest increasing the depth of the stepper_mount hole by 0.15mm.
