What is your commit number? FWIW, it doesn't appear that you are using the latest available source based upon the versions you posted above. You could also try importing the config file with XOA to see if you can reproduce the issue there.

Good day!

Hi Dan,

It was newly installed XOCE yesterday, planning to update the old version of my test lab environment because I cannot update from Github due to directory structure was different. I did exported the and downloaded the config file from old XOCE version and imported to the new installed XOCE and encountered the error "Error while importing config file" on the browser.

Here is the commit number ce617.

I will update it to the latest release from the Github and try re-upload the the config. I'll keep posted.

Thanks.

I'm not home, so I can't test this any further. It could be an issue in XO or your config file may be corrupt. You may want to post on the forums since you were able to replicate on XOA.

Well, I did a tested from my test XOCE VM from my existing old version to verify if the config file has the issue and it was successfully imported, and tried to export and import its own config from the new installed XOCE and it failed to import its own config file.

Thanks and appreciate your responds,

I just tested the import / export config process on both XOA and XO from source, and it worked correctly for me. Are you by chance using a passphrase to encrypt the file?

Zurab-88 commented 1 year ago

I did test the encrypted i just click the key button to auto generate the passphrase and also tested the non encrypted both failed on my side. I will check maybe I did something wrong with my installation.

Thank you.
