I'd like to second this commenter's recommendation; it would be great if you could rename the buttons and have them correspondingly name the tag they apply.

For example, renaming the red tag button as "Issue" would apply a red-colored tag named "Issue", rather than adding the "Red" tag.

I believe you can do that with the Custom Tag option.
