Model Export #225

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open any character with hairstyle
2. Load items
3. Export 3d model

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expect a texture output that shows a "bakednpctexture" style output, shows a
picture of the hair. Correct output happens(at least for humans) if you set the
npc to having no hair. This also happens, at the very least, with blood elves,
but instead of displaying hair it displays their eye portion.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
7.0(617) on windows 7

Please provide any additional information like screenshot and log.txt
below.

Okay, 3DS isn't our best exporter. We're having a lot of problems with it, like
getting them to open in 3DSMax.

Try the Lightwave Exporter, the OBJ exporter or the FBX exporter. In a clutch,
the Milkshape exporter might also work.
