There could be some users who eat multiple of the same item in the same day. It was not clearly stated.

Replication:

  1. add budget and income
  2. add n/CHICKEN c/25
  3. repeat 2. OR `add n/CHICKEN c/<<today's date>>

Team's Response

We understand your concern although our add transaction has this safeguard to prevent users from adding duplicate transactions by mistake.

In the event that a user makes 2 of the exact same transactions in the same day, the user can simply edit the first transaction, to double the amount spent and include a new remark stating the double transaction.

I don't think it is right to claim that something is working as intended if it not clearly explained in the UG, nor in the DG.

As a user, I don't even know whether I am using it correctly or not, or whether this was intended by the developers, when in fact I want to do that. The work around suggested is also not being mentioned in the UG.
