Excel changes the formatting of CSV files by automatically formatting the currency values. Thus we recommend editing CSV files using a text editor to avoid such an issue. This is an issue on the user's side, in future versions we will add a disclaimer to our user guide to prevent users from wrongly formatting their CSV files.

Reason for disagreement: As a user using this application, I might come from a place where I have absolutely no coding back ground. I might not even know what a text editor is. If I were to follow instructions as given in the UG, I would end up with this problem. It could serious impede my ability to use this app entirely, if I rely on the import function a lot.
I don't think it should be rejected on the basis that a disclaimer will be put up in future, since the problem exists currently.
response.Rejected: What tester treated as a bug is in fact the expected behavior.
Based on the above definition, it is definitely not the expected behaviour of the application and is a bug.
I am agreeable with dropping it to medium severity as it does not render the entire application unusable.

The Import comand does not return a message upon completion and I cannot tell if it works. I have input data as per the table shown in ug.
Table as shown.
Replication:
export
import transactions.csv
list
The new transaction does not appear.
