Police Bicycles For Cadets

As some of us know , police cadets don’t get their own cars & need a senior officer clocked in to partner with therefore they don’t clock in when seniors officers aren’t in the city so my solution is implement the option for police cadets to ride police bicycles and at least tackle street crimes (fights,stabbings, muggings, etc.) maybe equip with a pistol , taser and baton so they will be used to their upmost potential instead of waiting for senior officers to clock in. I think it’d make for some great RP situation with them writing citations and tickets as well. Just a idea , let me know what you all think. 🙇🏻‍♂️

1) They can pull out cars but because they're cadets and they're in their training phase they either need an FTO or an Officer to be clocked on. Its how every PD around the world works. 2) Why would you let a cadet mind you, go out on the streets on his own in a bicycle out of all vehicles? Theres 0 point in having a cadet clock in on his own, they'll probably just get shot every 2 seconds knowing they'll have nothing to protect themselves. I've been in PD for 13 months and no cadet was or will ever be left on his own without any other officers in the streets.

This just looks like a post that was made because "theres not enough cops clocking on".

As much as i read this and actually think this could be a good idea for more Role play and immersion, but with the way the server is and how newer players interact when it comes to crimes, i could only see the cops on bikes only ever going to be abused, constant hold ups, and everything leading to a 10-80, Just my opinion though

But also why would a cadet be on the streets alone, with 0 days experience or training?

So cadets are police without training but get their own cars but can’t get their own bicycles ? & it’s about them being on alone that’s just another level of officers it could be , street patrol , issue tickets and handle street business.

A cadet has access to a Police Vehicle but can not pull it out without authorization with who ever is doing a ride along for them, the idea is cool but it makes 0 sense with the simple fact this is a game, and they will legit get killed every situation

A cadet can pull a car but its against SOPs unless hes going on an RA with an officer or a FTO

Will put this suggestion down to a lack of understanding with how we work. The 'Senior Officer' requirement is not there so they can just pull out a vehicle, it's there so they are under supervision whilst on the streets and learning.

Whilst I can appreciate the thought behind it it's counter-intuitive to just let Cadet out on their own on a bike. Thats simply asking for issues.
