Text above the head when using a bandage + Rule about applying bandages

Describe the feature you'd like People use bandages in gunfights very often. Cops, criminals, doesn't matter. Everybody does it, even myself. And even so, I consider it to be a bit FailRP. People break off from a gunfight and start running, and while they are getting shot at, running and carrying a gun they go to their inventory and bandage themselves. This, of course, is FailRP in my opinion, as you couldn't really do that in real life. Another example is a situation just like this one, but with a weapon that requires both hands like a shotgun or an AR. Where there's really no possibility for you to bandage yourself while carrying a gun with both hands.

When using a bandage, a text should appear above your head (like the ones where you pass items) with something like "X is wrapping a bandage on his wounds". Maybe trigger an animation like the one when you are taking a painkiller. And maybe it should be specified in the rules that it is FailRP to use a bandage while in a direct gunfight, or directly being shot at in open field. To use a bandage, you could be in a gunfight, but at least somewhere where it is considered "in cover", so where you could technically be safe to apply a bandage to yourself. Not while running, carrying a gun, etc.

LATER EDIT: As the text above the head could be metagamed in a gunfight to figure out where somebody's position is, maybe make it show a basic text in the chat " X is wrapping a bandage on his wounds " .

Should this be implemented an animation is the best course of action imo. It’s not really failRP to be bandaging in a gunfight - think of it this way. Irl you’re shooting at someone else and you get shot, realistically you’re going to be affected negatively due to the impact of the wound and most likely tumbling. You’re going to want to bandage ASAP to increase your chances of survival

Please read my suggestion again. I never said to not be able to use the bandages in a gunfight - but to use them when you are in proper cover, not while sprinting with an AR and getting shot at.

Saying someone can’t bandage in an open field is ludicrous ngl if they’re about to pass out but your best bet is to find an animation that best suits what you’re aiming for and then stating it here for the developers to evaluate and decide whether they’ll implement it or not

So you are about to pass out - meaning you aren't properly able to see, focus, use your brain in general, but you somehow can carry a weapon with both hands and bandage your leg with your mouth while running. I understand now.

As we don't have messages above the head for painkillers, I don't think we need it for bandages, added the animation.
