Activities around the City #3133

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. The Server can get dry at times and there being nothing to really do

Describe the feature you'd like I would like to see some activities add for people to do around the city, Activities you interact with other people giving you that social rp of hanging around other people and doing things other than jobs or just standing around. I think that some cool things a lot of people would like are activities such as Racing, Paintball, Arcade games, Pier games and I'm sure there is many other things people can thing of but for example racing. There could be an app on the phone you create a race/group select a preset track, Then select the amount of money it cost per racer to enter and then you enter and the top 3 take-home earnings from the race. Paintball there could be a set shop that you buy paintball guns from with the ammo and you have to buy gear as well so the paintballs do not hurt you. there could be multiple areas you can play this at. You could have teams or free for all. There are many different things you could do for this. Arcade you could open the arcade on grove street that there is in GTA online with playable games as well with a stand inside you can buy little toy items, etc. There is lots of things that could be added so there is more RP and things to do when you are just chilling or looking to have a good time

Yes racing is one of the main activities that I want tbh I think I would be really cool for cops to chase racers and whatnot and really cool for the street racers just to have fun and have cars for a reason

A few ideas have been discussed previously, and in the recent poll you were given the option to vote for a couple of them. Keep an eye out for future surveys/polls, as we will no-doubt be looking for more suggestions.

I would like to see things like darts pool and tennis added into the server. These are all activities within the base game which are skill based activities. These would give people things to do while relaxing in the city and could be used to host tournaments.

Same here, I think stuff like racing can be roleplayed but not ur activities mentioned before, I believe it would make bars more fun to go to since they have either darts and/or Pool inside

I agree that racing can be roleplayed but there if there is like a set class for cars and set things like checkpoints on your GPS it just makes it better

I agree that racing can be roleplayed but there if there is like a set class for cars and set things like checkpoints on your GPS it just makes it better

It can be roleplayed but its not a Nopixel where most of people is streaming and trying to be fair. Changing track mid race, cheating or even missing RP checkpoints is something that will happen if this is not done as a system activity. Having a car rn is mostly for show/looks or eventually getting away from cops (if you want to risk impound). I would love to race with other people on fair rules. If there is way I can help making that a reality I'm happy to do it.

So would I but it's not as easy as just ticking a box and enabling it, the net sync of tennis alone would be hurrendous, I've never seen anyone get it working as it should be. To add, I'm not going to be the one to get it working either, I'm not decompiling some ~2,000,000 lines of obfuscated C code for people to probably never use it or complain it doesn't work very well.

Unsure how this currently isn't possible, to mention, your comment sounds like you just want cops to chase you...

We polled this in a survey, we're not just going to let people buy paintball guns as they'll just grief it, we have an idea for it and we're not just going to half-ass add guns in and call it a day.

But... you're just basing that off of that one servers implementation, why not think outside the box?

It's not that I don't want any of this, it's just the suggestions are either outlandish or not thought out, just generic 'add this' with no real background.

+this is crowding feedback as it's just a duplicate.
