Can’t join server due to “Couldn’t load resource chat” #3916

Describe the bug

When attempting to join the server after the big wipe, this user cannot load in. Issue only happens with highlife RP and didn’t occur prior to wipe.

Error received after sitting in the long queue: “Couldn’t load resource chat: Failed to open packfile: ReadBulk of header failed: Failed to fetch: Failed to add entry to local storage (download corrupted?)”

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

  1. Go to Highlife RP server via F8, server browser, favorites
  2. Join server
  3. Wait in queue
  4. See error after finishing queue and downloading all files at 0.00mb/0.00mb each package

Expected Behaviour Sit in queue and eventually get to position 0, download resources with full file size, get to last package, then get progressed to the loading screen.

Additional context Asked countless times in the Highlife RP discord, nobody has an answer.

Tried already: Join server via F8 Join server via favorites Join server via server browser Clear cache on FiveM Reinstall FiveM Repair FiveM installation Re-add FiveM to steam with legit Rockstar games version of GTAV Redownload GTAV Re-download FiveM Install FiveM on different local drive Install FiveM on same local drive as GTAV Restart computer Test joining other servers (this works, HL does not)

As much as I'd like to muster a solution for you, I simply have none, I don't understand what's causing this aside from one guy saying that disabling antivirus/windows defender solved the problem.

If this still doesn't work, submit a bug report to fivem.
