Chumming the Waters #558

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. So the old way of fishing didn't force RP, but it could allow up to 10 people to RP if they so chose to. The new fishing pretty much ruins the chances of you ever getting 10 people together to actually fish unless you are just using it as a way to talk with people like at legion but make a little money at the same time.

Describe the feature you'd like A mechanic where you chum the waters, so to speak, in order to get 2 new things to spawn.

In my last fishing revamp post I mentioned something about a "fishing spot" that rotated like a meeting spot, and didn't really get any feedback on that. So I'm basically suggesting the same thing here with a slight alteration. Someone goes to certain spots(I'll get example images if you think this is doable) and pays like 50k or more. A notification goes out to the server in the bottom left that Golden Carp have been sighted at X(the place the person went to). The person was probably advertising that they were doing this on twitter beforehand, so it becomes a big server event. Everyone fishes and catches totally legal catfish, trout, bass, rainbow trout, and the exclusive golden carp that sell for 500ea but have a more common catch rate than rainbow trout. I would suggest having a cooldown built in like bank robberies that first prevents it from being done twice during the same duration to prevent people accidentally wasting 50k, but later it can be increased if it is found that people are abusing it to make money.

Next is something more illegal. There are 2 island shacks, one on the East and one on the West sides of the island. Much like drug drops, someone goes in there and pays a large sum of dirty/clean money to chum the waters for megalodon. Once this is done darknet sends out a notification, and the nearby great white spawn is killed, and for a duration replaced with a megoladon spawning in. The gang that spawned it then frantically tries to catch as many as possible, so would bring multiple boats full of people. They would also need to ward off randos and other gangs from stealing a shark or 2. I'd suggest putting a cooldown on this too so that you cant just stay there and make a large profit before going to sell the mega fins.

Additional context The shacks mentioned are posted in the shark/stingray possible selling locations thing i posted. This is kinda insider trading since i own a house next to one of them, but every fisherman has had that option in the months/years prior to me joining the server since D8 was added.

The golden carp shouldn't be a model based fish as those get depleted the more people fish them.
