Highlife Discord Bot - Suggestions not posted #6287

Describe the bug Occasionally, the Highlife Discord bot does not post suggestions that are filled out with the suggestion form. It doesn't seem to be correlated to any specific character amount typed in the fields, and isn't a constant issue, just fails to post on occasion.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. start a new suggestion
  2. fill out form
  3. submit
  4. occasionally see error

Screenshot/Video Don't currently have. I know several users including myself have had this issue. Not easily reproduced as it's an occasional issue. Only way to replicate would to be spam post suggestions.

Finally got a video of it. It's compressed as shit, blame YouTube. However, you can still see the issue. Keep an eye to the left, should show that a new post is made with a mention. I believe to be a character limit issue, or a keyword preventing it. Tried again a couple days in a row, same issue. Finally made a post that just read below (which let me post) and posted my suggestion in the comments of the thread

I’m pretty sure this is an issue with the bot failing to send the message if it goes over the 1,000 character limit for one message… Try submit the suggestion form with a simple message and then send the main text of the suggestion in multiple messages inside the forum.
