Davis PD Issue #6451

What happened?

Unable to pull vehicles from Davis PD when clocked into BCSO. It used to be intermittent with it only occasionally happening, however the issue seems to be happening more frequently. Doesn't happen to only one person and can be fine for others. Unable to pinpoint time frames, as it can happen pretty soon after restart or hours after.

Expected result

Successful vehicle pulls

Reproduction steps

  1. Be clocked in
  2. Pull vehicle - no matter what type of vehicle
  3. Get error "Cannot retrieve a vehicle right now, try again soon"

Additional information

No error logs seen in F8 and running away from the station, clocking in and out or relogging usually does not resolve it but sometimes can.

Copying my response from #6448: This isn't a bug from what I've been told. It's due to too many cars being active in city. What you're waiting on is for a local to de-spawn and/or have players put their cars up. You'll see this issue with any way you can pull a car Jobs, Bike Rentals, anything. Just a waiting game to avoid network issue. At least this is based off of what a Moderator has explained to me.

Additionally, this is a global issue. It's been reported the most in the South Los Santos and Downtown area however I've seen it at all garages.

Not much I can really do about it, unless serverside vehicle creation is enforced, which doesn't work too well.
