From the screenshot above^ you can see someone else also mentioning there is no longer an option to scroll through shagmags.
This is one of the few collectable items that are interactive.

Obtain a ShagMag in your inventory
Click use in your inventory
Upon clicking use, nothing happens, you normally would have the ShagMag on your screen.
