Made a new character and it is not there anymore

What happened?

created a new character named Holdin Hiskok and after i created him i went to show my ID an it was my original characters and so i flew out and flew back in and it caused me to be in a glitched state where i couldnt do anything and once i figured out how to get out of that state Holdin Hiskok isnt in my character list and when i tried to make him again the name is taken now

Expected result

created Holdin Hiskok

Reproduction steps

flew in and made Holdin Hiskok
flew out because of ID problem
Created ticket because it all went wrong

an even bigger issue has come up now im stuck in a constant state of character creation no matter if i fly out or fly back in
